These portraits are of 3 members of the Davies (or Davis) family. 2 are labelled on the reverside "Late JW Davies (or Davis) Great Grandfather Died 1809" and "Late...Davies (or Davis) Great Grandmother Died 1828". The portrait of the son is not marked on the back. The rectangular glass is secured with gold colored tape and each has a wire ring for hanging. The portraits are on a pale gold background. Each has a painted paper mat with gold stripes and a border of tiny blue vines and flowers. Each measures: 5 1/2" tall x 4" wide.
